About Us
We at P A Care are proud to provide compassionate home care across Barking and the wider Barking and Dagenham community, supporting people to live well and safely in the place they know best: their own home.
Operating throughout the IG postcode area and surrounding London neighbourhoods, our team travels to those who need us, bringing warmth, reliability and respectful support directly to the doorstep. Familiar surroundings matter deeply when receiving care, and we work in partnership with each household to ensure that routines, comforts and personal preferences remain at the heart of daily life.
Our care is shaped around the individual, with experience supporting older people, adults living with dementia, younger adults, and those with learning disabilities or autism. We also assist people managing mental health needs, physical disabilities, and visual or hearing impairments. In practice, this means thoughtful, person centred support that may include help with personal care, medication, mobility, meal preparation, companionship and the small everyday tasks that make independent living possible. For families, it offers genuine peace of mind, knowing that a trusted carer is alongside their loved one, communicating openly and adapting support as needs evolve.
We understand that inviting care into the home is a significant step, and we approach every introduction with sensitivity. Our aim is to build trusting relationships not only with the people we support, but with the relatives, friends and professionals who form part of their wider circle of care.
The Care Quality Commission has rated us Good overall, with Good ratings across all five domains: Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive and Well led, following inspection in July 2019. This independent assurance reflects our ongoing commitment to safe practice, kind hearted support and responsive, well managed care.
If you are exploring home care options in Barking or the surrounding area for yourself or someone you love, we warmly invite you to get in touch. We would be glad to listen, answer your questions and help you understand how thoughtful support at home could make a meaningful difference.
