About Bradbury Manor
Bradbury Manor is a residential care home in Devizes, Wiltshire, supporting adults with a learning disability and autistic adults, people living with mental health conditions and people with physical disabilities. We also offer respite stays. We start from the view that this is somebody's home, not a setting they have been placed in. People choose how their rooms look, what they eat, what they do with a weekend and how much company they want. Support is built around each person and reviewed as they change, because what somebody wants at the start of a year is often not what they want by the end of it. For autistic people, and for anybody who finds unpredictability difficult, the environment matters enormously. Noise, lighting, changes of staff and unfamiliar visitors are not minor details, and planning for them properly is a large part of our work. Where somebody lives with a mental health condition, we work alongside community teams so that support stays consistent, and we treat a difficult period as something to get through together rather than as a failure. Respite stays give a family carer a genuine break and give the person staying a change of surroundings with support in place. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please get in touch if you would like to visit.
