About Us
We are 19 Berryfield Road in Bradford On Avon, a residential care home run by the Ordinary Life Project Association. We support adults with learning disabilities and autistic adults, people living with mental health conditions, people with physical disabilities, people with a visual or hearing impairment, and older and younger adults. Respite stays are available.
The name of the organisation says what we are for. An ordinary life means the same choices about how to spend your time and who to spend it with as anybody else has, and support that makes those choices possible rather than managing them for you.
So we plan around individuals rather than around a routine. Some of the people here want a busy week with work, college, sport or regular groups and plenty of getting out into the town. Others want quiet and a rhythm they can rely on, and where change is unsettling we keep things steady and prepare carefully for anything unusual. Where access, equipment or communication need proper attention, they get it, so that those needs do not end up shaping the whole day.
Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. We are used to detailed questions from families and commissioners and we welcome them. Please contact us if you would like to visit.
