About Us

St Georges Lodge Residential Care Home is in Worthing, providing residential care for older people who can no longer manage safely on their own, and for younger adults who need residential support.

We aim for the feel of a household rather than an institution, with people keeping their own routines, their own belongings and a genuine say in how their day goes. Some people here are up early and busy, others prefer a slow start and a quiet sitting room, and both are perfectly reasonable. Meals and company matter a great deal, so we put real effort into both.

Respite stays are available too, for people who need care for a short period and for family carers who need a break.

Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission was requires improvement. We would rather put that in front of you ourselves than leave you to find it elsewhere. We have worked through the findings and our attention has gone to the things that shape daily life here rather than to paperwork alone. Anyone considering St Georges Lodge should come and visit, talk to the team and ask us directly what has changed and how we know it is holding.
