About Us

Here at Tozer House, we provide residential care for adults in the heart of Chichester, West Sussex. We support a wide range of people, including older adults, those living with dementia, younger adults, individuals with a learning disability or autism, and those who need a shorter stay through respite care. Whether someone comes to us for a few weeks or makes Tozer House their long term home, we want them to feel genuinely settled and cared for.

We know that choosing a care home is one of the most significant decisions a family can make, and we do not take that trust lightly. From the very first conversation, we try to make things as straightforward and reassuring as possible. We take the time to get to know each person properly, understanding their routines, preferences and what matters most to them day to day, so that the care we provide genuinely fits around them rather than the other way around.

Our team works hard to create an atmosphere that feels homely and calm. We want residents to feel comfortable being themselves, to maintain their independence wherever possible, and to have real choice in how they spend their time. Equally, we are here when people need more hands on support, and we approach that with patience and respect.

We are pleased that our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission resulted in a rating of good, which reflects the commitment our staff bring to their work each day.

If you are exploring options for yourself or someone close to you, we would warmly encourage you to get in touch or come and visit us here in Chichester. Seeing Tozer House for yourself is often the best way to get a real sense of whether it feels right, and we are always happy to welcome you through the door.
