About Lime Tree House
Lime Tree House is a residential care home in Sale, in Trafford. We support older people and younger adults, including residents with a physical disability, and we offer respite care for planned short stays. We take the view that a care home should get out of the way of the person living in it. Residents decide when they get up, what they eat, where they spend their time and who they see. Some enjoy everything that is going on in the communal rooms; others prefer their own room and their own routine, and neither choice needs explaining to us. Before anybody moves in we spend time with them and with the people who know them well, so that we understand what a good day looks like. That goes into how we support them rather than sitting unread in a file. Where a resident wants to keep doing something for themselves we support that even when it takes longer, because independence is worth the extra time. Physical disability support is part of the ordinary running of the house. We think carefully about how rooms are arranged, how someone moves around safely and how equipment is used, so that the building works for the person rather than the other way round. Respite stays are planned properly, whether a family carer needs a break, someone is recovering after a spell in hospital, or a household wants to try the home before committing. Sale is a pleasant place to live and we make the most of it. If you would like to visit, please get in touch.
