About Walton Heath Manor
We are a residential care home at Walton on the Hill in Surrey, offering a settled home to older people who need support with daily life. We also take people for respite stays, whether that is a planned break so a family carer can have some time, or a shorter arrangement while somebody gets back on their feet after an illness. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is outstanding. We are proud of it, though a rating reflects what inspectors found on particular days, and the job is to keep deserving it. What lies behind it is unglamorous. Knowing the people who live here properly. Noticing changes early and acting on them. Keeping our staff long enough that they really know everybody, because a team that stays is the single biggest advantage a care home can have. Beyond that, we want the days here to be worth having rather than simply safe. People get up when they are ready, eat what they actually want and spend their time as they prefer. Some want company and something going on. Others would rather sit quietly with a paper. Neither needs explaining to us, and families come and go as they like rather than at set visiting times. If you are looking at homes for a relative, please come and see us. Half an hour here will tell you more than anything we could write. Contact us and we will arrange a visit at a time that suits your family.
