About Us

Here at Adalah Residential Rest Home, we offer a warm and homely environment for older adults living in Leigh On Sea, Southend on Sea. We are a residential care home providing support for older people, including those living with dementia, as well as offering respite care for those who need a short term stay.

We understand that choosing a care home is one of the most significant decisions a family can make, and we do not take that trust lightly. From the moment someone walks through our door, whether as a prospective resident, a family member, or a visitor, we want them to feel genuinely welcome and at ease. Our aim is simple: to support each person to live comfortably, safely, and with as much independence and dignity as possible.

For those living with dementia, we work hard to create a calm and familiar atmosphere where residents feel secure and understood. We take time to learn about each person's history, preferences, and routines, because good care begins with truly knowing the individual.

Our respite care is there for families who need a trusted place for their loved one during a period of recovery, a carer's break, or a time of change. We treat every short stay with the same thought and care as we would a long term placement.

We are pleased that our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission resulted in an overall rating of good, and we continue to build on that by listening to residents, families, and our team.
