About Us

Rons Place is a residential care home in the Birmingham and Solihull area, supporting adults with a learning disability and autistic adults, most of them younger adults. Respite stays are available as well as permanent places. We are a small house and everything follows from that. People have their own space and their own routines and a genuine say in how the place is run, from the weekly shop through to what happens at the weekend. The people we support want different things from their week. Some are out most days, at work, at college or with friends, and need us to make that practical and to be there when they come home. Others prefer a steadier, more predictable rhythm and need staff who understand what helps them feel settled. We take real time to learn those patterns, including how someone tells us they are struggling when they cannot put it into words. Support plans are written with the person in language that is theirs. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good.
