About Lynncare 2000
Lynncare 2000 is a residential care home in Solihull. We support older people who need help with daily life, adults with a learning disability, autistic adults and people with mental health needs, including younger adults. We also offer respite stays. Supporting people with quite different needs under one roof works only if you plan around each person, so that is what we do. Everyone here has their own plan, agreed with them and with anyone they want involved, covering not just the help they need but what they want their days to hold. An older resident who wants a settled routine and a younger adult who is out at college or work most of the week both live here on their own terms. The basics apply to everybody. People choose when to get up, what to eat and how much company they want. Privacy is respected and personal care is given quietly and at the person's own pace. Rooms are furnished with people's own belongings. Our team stays as settled as we can manage, because knowing somebody properly is what lets you notice an early change and understand what lies behind distress rather than simply containing it. Health needs are dealt with alongside local GPs and community teams, and families are told promptly when anything changes. The Care Quality Commission rated us good overall at our most recent inspection. Please come and look round.
