About Us
We are a residential care home in Guisborough, supporting older people and younger adults with a broad range of needs. That breadth reflects the people who have come to us over the years, and it means we are used to working out what a particular person requires rather than fitting everybody to one pattern.
We help with personal care, mobility, meals and medication, and we care for people living with dementia, where familiar staff and steady routines matter most. We also support adults with a learning disability and autistic adults, people living with mental health needs, people with a physical disability and people with a visual or hearing impairment, paying attention to how each person communicates and to what in the house helps them feel settled.
Respite stays are available, whether to give a family carer a real break or to let somebody get used to us gradually before any longer decision.
Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. We would far rather hear about a concern while it is still small, so we ask residents and relatives regularly and we act on what they tell us.
You would be very welcome to visit, look round and meet the people who live and work here before deciding anything.
