About Us

Here at Nightingale Lodge, we are proud to call Hunstanton home. Nestled in this charming coastal town on the edge of Norfolk, our care home offers a warm and settled environment where older people can feel genuinely at ease, whether they are joining us for a short respite stay or making their home with us long term.

We support people living with dementia, those who need residential care in later life, and individuals who simply need a helping hand to recover or recharge. Our team takes time to get to know each person properly, understanding their routines, their preferences, and what matters most to them day to day. Good care, in our view, starts with genuinely listening.

We are delighted that our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission awarded us an Outstanding overall rating. That recognition means a great deal to us, not because of the accolade itself, but because it reflects the effort our team puts in every single day to make life here feel meaningful and comfortable for the people in our care.

Hunstanton is a wonderful place to be. The sea air, the open skies, and the unhurried pace of Norfolk life all contribute to the sense of calm that runs through everything we do here. Families who visit often remark on how settled and content their loved ones seem, and that is something we never take for granted.

If you are thinking about care for yourself or someone close to you, we would warmly encourage you to come and visit us. There is no substitute for seeing a place for yourself, meeting the team, and getting a real feel for life at Nightingale Lodge. We would be very glad to welcome you through our doors.
