About Us
We are a residential care home in Spalding, providing a home for older people and younger adults who need support with daily life. We try to keep the feel of a household rather than an institution, with people bringing their own furniture and pictures, keeping their own hours where they can, and carrying on with what they enjoy.
We help with personal care, mobility, meals and medication, and we care for people living with dementia. With dementia the things that help are rarely complicated: familiar staff, routines that do not keep changing and enough time that nothing has to be hurried. An unhurried day is usually a good one.
Respite stays are available as well, whether that gives a family carer a proper rest after a long stretch of managing at home, or lets someone try the home for a short period before deciding about anything longer.
Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Keeping it depends on hearing about small problems while they are still small, so we ask residents and relatives often and we do something about what they tell us.
Do come and see us if you are looking at homes in this part of Lincolnshire. A look round, a chat with the people who live here and a cup of tea will tell you more than any brochure.
