About Us
Boultham Park House is a care home in Lincoln for older people, including those living with dementia. We are close to the park that gives the house its name, which matters more than it might sound, because a walk somewhere green is often the best part of somebody's day.
We provide residential care, help with the things that have become difficult, and company for people who had begun to find home a lonely place. Support with washing, dressing, medication and mobility is given discreetly by staff who know how each person likes things done, and we write that down so it does not depend on who happens to be on duty.
For people living with dementia, we keep the day familiar and unhurried. We learn the life behind the person, including the work they did and the family they talk about, and we use it to make conversation and to steady things when somebody is distressed. Meals are cooked here and we make sure eating stays sociable and relaxed.
Relatives are part of the household as far as we are concerned, and visiting is not something we ration. Short respite stays are available, often for people recovering after a stay in hospital or to give a carer at home a proper rest. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please ring us if you would like to arrange a visit.
