About Us
Kings Court is a care home in Grantham, Lincolnshire. We provide residential care for older people and younger adults, and we support people living with dementia, people with a physical disability, people with a visual or hearing impairment and people managing a mental health condition. Respite stays are available alongside permanent places.
Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is requires improvement. We would rather set that out at the start than let a family find it later. The inspection identified things that were not good enough for the people living here, and we have accepted that. Anyone considering us should ask precisely what was found and precisely what has changed since, and should not settle for a general answer.
What we are working towards is a home built around individuals. The people here have very different needs, and support has to be planned person by person rather than by group. That means learning how somebody communicates, what their week should actually contain and what helps when things go wrong.
Please visit before deciding anything. Read the inspection report in full, speak to residents and relatives, and judge us on what you find.
