About Us
Vancouver Road, part of The Regard Partnership, is a residential care home in Lewisham, south London. We support adults with a learning disability, autistic adults and people living with mental health conditions.
We are a house on an ordinary street rather than an institution, and that shapes what living here is like. People have their own rooms and a real say in how the household runs, from what is cooked to who comes round. Being small means staff genuinely know the people they support, which is worth more than any amount of paperwork.
Support is agreed with the person. Some need help with personal care and health. Others mainly want somebody alongside them so that a demanding world becomes manageable, and support to do things for themselves rather than have them done. We expect people to take on more over time, not less.
For autistic residents and people with a learning disability, the way support is given matters as much as the support itself. Clear communication, consistent staff, honest notice before anything changes and genuine choice prevent most difficulties before they arise.
London is on the doorstep and we use it, whether that means college, work, family, faith or simply a favourite place to go.
Respite stays are available. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please contact us if you would like to visit.
