About Us
M Power runs a residential care home on Bromley Road in Lewisham supporting a broad range of adults. Some of our residents are older people who need help with daily life; others are adults with a learning disability, autistic adults, people with mental health needs, residents with a physical disability or people living with sight or hearing loss, and many are younger adults.
Planning for individuals is what makes that work. One person may want help to wash and dress and then to be left in peace. Another may want staff alongside them cooking, going out locally, getting to an appointment or working through something that has gone wrong.
We pay attention to how each person communicates, what they find difficult and what helps them settle. Where somebody needs help to move about safely the right equipment is in place and our staff are trained for it, and where there is sight or hearing loss we adapt how we communicate and do not move things without saying so. For residents with mental health needs we keep the household calm and predictable and work with local services and doctors.
Everyday life includes cooking, shopping, keeping your own room as you want it and getting out into the local area.
Respite stays are available. Please contact us if you would like to look round.
