About Us
Pennine Resource Centre in Hull provides residential care for adults, including older people, younger adults, people with a learning disability or who are autistic, and people living with a physical disability. Our purpose is to offer somewhere steady to live, with the right amount of help and no more than that.
Support here is genuinely individual. Some people want a busy week with plenty going on outside, while others need the day to stay quiet and predictable, and we plan for both. For autistic people in particular we pay attention to routine, to warning before anything changes, and to keeping somewhere available to step away to. Where somebody has a physical disability, our aim is to take the obstacle out of the way rather than narrow what they do.
Independence is the thread through all of it. People are supported to cook, shop, manage money as far as they are able and keep their space as they want it. We help where help is wanted and stand back where it is not.
Respite stays are available for people needing support for a short period.
Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is Good.
Please get in touch if you would like to visit or talk through whether we could suit somebody.
