Hale Place Farmhouse

Hale Place Farmhouse is a residential care home in Tonbridge, Kent (TN12 5EN). It holds a CQC rating of Outstanding.

About Hale Place Farmhouse

Hale Place Farmhouse is a care home near Tonbridge. We provide residential care for older people, including people living with dementia, and we offer respite stays alongside permanent places. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is outstanding. We are proud of it and cautious about it, because that standard is considerably easier to reach than to hold, and the quickest way to lose it is to start quoting it at people. What gets us there is nothing clever. A settled staff team who know the residents properly rather than in outline. A day that belongs to the people living in it, so that they decide when to get up, what to eat and how much company they want. Rooms that are genuinely somebody's own. Families who feel able to say when something is wrong, and a manager who is on the floor rather than behind a door. For those living with dementia, we work from the person's own history. What they did, who their family are and what their afternoons used to look like usually explains more than any assessment, and relatives are the ones who can fill that in for us. Please come and visit if you are considering care locally. Come unannounced if you would rather.
