About Us

Little Hayes is a residential care home in Totland Bay on the Isle of Wight, providing a home for older people, younger adults, people living with dementia, people with physical disabilities, people with loss of sight or hearing, and people living with mental health conditions.

We should be honest about our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission, which is requires improvement. We would rather you heard it from us. We know the areas that were identified and there is a programme of work in hand, with changes already made to staff supervision and training, to how care is recorded, and to how families are included in decisions. Please ask us about it directly when you come.

The work of the home continues as it should meanwhile: careful help with washing and dressing, meals cooked here, attention to nutrition, skin and mobility, and safe management of medication. For those living with dementia we keep the routine steady and the faces familiar. For people with sensory loss we adapt how we communicate and how we approach somebody.

Respite stays are available. Please visit and ask us whatever you need to ask.
