About Us
Greenhill is a residential care home in Barnet, providing a permanent home for adults who need care and support with everyday life. We aim for a household where people are known properly rather than looked after efficiently.
Our care is residential rather than nursing. We help with personal care, medication, meals, mobility and company, and we bring in community health professionals when something more clinical is needed. Many of our residents live with dementia, and we rely on familiar staff, a routine that stays where it is and reassurance repeated as often as it is wanted. We also support adults with a learning disability or autism, where communication suited to the person and a dependable routine matter most, and residents with physical disabilities, adjusting how we help with mobility so that independence is kept wherever it can be.
Respite stays are available, giving family carers a real break and letting a prospective resident spend time here before any permanent decision.
Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please visit on an ordinary day, speak to the people who live here and form your own impression of the place.
