About Yad Voezer 2
Yad Voezer 2 provides residential care in Hackney for older people and younger adults. We support adults with learning disabilities and autism, people managing mental health conditions, people with physical disabilities and people who have sight or hearing loss, and we also take planned respite stays. The people who live here are adults with their own lives to lead, and our job is to make those lives possible rather than to manage them. Everybody has their own room, their own routine and a real say in how the house runs. Our staff help with personal care, medicines, meals, money and the ordinary work of a household, and we stand back wherever somebody can manage alone. The particulars are where the work lies. How a person communicates, what makes an environment tolerable, how much notice they need before something changes, which parts of the day they would rather handle themselves, and how they want to be helped are all things we learn from the person rather than assume. We also take seriously the things that make a home feel like the right one, including the customs, food and observances that matter to the people living here and to their families. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please visit, and spend time with the people who already live here.
