About Us
Shooters Hill Residential Home is a care home in the Greenwich area of London, offering residential care to older people and to younger adults with a range of support needs. We support people living with dementia, people with a learning disability, people who are autistic and people living with mental ill health, and we also take respite bookings.
Ours is a house where people come and go, chat in the lounge and keep their own routines, and we think that matters. Someone who has always had a late breakfast can carry on having one here, and someone who prefers quiet can have it. Our team takes time to learn the small things, because those are usually what make a place feel liveable.
Families tell us they want to be kept in the loop, so we keep contact open and honest, including when something has gone wrong or when a person's needs are changing. We would far rather have an early conversation than a difficult one later.
The Care Quality Commission most recently rated us good overall. We treat that as a floor rather than a ceiling, and we keep asking the people who live here what would make their day better.
If you are looking at homes in Greenwich for yourself or for someone you love, you are welcome to visit, have a cup of tea and see how the home runs on an ordinary day.
