About Us

Here at Bay Tree Court Care Centre in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, we provide a warm and genuinely homely environment where the people in our care feel safe, valued and supported to live well.

We care for older adults, people living with dementia, younger adults, and those who need a short period of respite care. Each person who comes to us brings their own story, preferences and routines, and we work hard to make sure that individuality is respected every single day. Whether someone is joining us for a longer term stay or a temporary period of support, we aim to make the transition as smooth and comfortable as possible for both them and their family.

Dementia care is something we take seriously. We understand how disorientating and emotionally challenging this journey can be, and we focus on creating familiar, calm surroundings where residents feel at ease. Our approach is person centred, meaning we take the time to understand each resident's history and what matters most to them, rather than fitting people into a one size fits all routine.

For those needing respite care, we know it can sometimes feel like a big step. We welcome short stay residents with the same warmth as anyone else, and many families tell us how reassured they felt once they saw the environment for themselves.

We are pleased to hold a "good" rating from the Care Quality Commission, which reflects the consistent effort our team puts in to maintaining high standards of care, safety and wellbeing. That rating means a great deal to us, though we never see it as a reason to stand still.

If you would like to find out more or come and have a look around, we would love to hear from you.
