About Us

St Saviours Road is a residential care home in St Leonards On Sea providing a home for a varied group of people: older adults, younger adults, adults with learning disabilities, autistic adults, people living with dementia, people with physical disabilities, people with loss of sight or hearing, and people living with mental health conditions.

That breadth works because we build support around the individual rather than around a label. One person may need help with almost every part of the day and another very little, and both live here on the same footing. We ask each person what a good day looks like for them, write it down in a form that makes sense to them, and change it when they tell us to.

Communication gets particular attention, using speech, signing, symbols or simply the understanding that comes from knowing somebody well. For people with sensory loss we adapt how rooms are lit and how we approach and announce ourselves.

People here are supported to get out to clubs, appointments and family.

Respite stays are available. Our most recent rating from the Care Quality Commission is good.
