About Us

Here at Oak View, we provide residential care for adults in the heart of St Leonards on Sea, East Sussex. We support people with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities and younger adults who need a little extra help with day to day life, whether that is on a long term basis or through short term respite stays.

We believe that everyone who comes through our doors deserves to feel genuinely at home. That means getting to know each person properly, understanding what matters to them, what they enjoy, how they like their days to go, and making sure our support fits around their life rather than the other way round. We take time to listen, and we encourage the people we support to have a real say in how things are done here.

Our team works hard to create an environment that feels calm, friendly and welcoming. We know that choosing a care home, whether for yourself or for someone you love, is not a decision anyone takes lightly. We want families to feel confident that their person is in good hands, and we always make time to talk things through openly and honestly.

We are pleased to have received a rating of Good from the Care Quality Commission, which we feel reflects the genuine care and attention our team brings to their work each day. That said, we never stand still. We are always looking at how we can do better and how we can improve the experience for everyone who lives with us.

If you would like to find out more about Oak View or come and have a look around, please do get in touch. We are always happy to welcome visitors and answer any questions you might have.
