About Us

Westfield Park Care Home is a residential care home in Goole, East Riding of Yorkshire. We support older people and younger adults, including people living with dementia and people with a physical disability, and we offer respite stays.

Life here runs at a domestic pace. People wake in their own time, choose where to spend the day, eat what they enjoy and keep the routines they have always had. Help with washing, dressing, medication and mobility is given when it is wanted, quietly and with respect for privacy.

Caring well for people living with dementia rests on continuity and knowledge. We work hard to keep our team settled, because a carer who knows a resident's history, family and particular worries can ease a difficult moment in a way that no procedure can. We keep the surroundings calm and familiar and give people time instead of instructions.

Relatives are welcome here and we keep in regular contact with them about health and mood, rather than waiting for a crisis to prompt a phone call.

Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good.

If you are considering residential care in Goole or the surrounding area, please arrange to visit, meet the team and take your time over the decision.
