About Us

Here at Hazeldene House, we offer residential care for older people, those living with dementia, individuals with physical disabilities, and younger adults who need support with day to day living. We are based in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, and we welcome both long term residents and those joining us for a shorter respite stay.

We know that choosing a care home is one of the biggest decisions a family can face, and we do not take that lightly. Our aim is straightforward: to make sure every person who lives here feels genuinely at home, respected, and well looked after. That means taking time to understand who someone is, not just what care they need. Their routines, preferences, and the things that matter to them all shape the way we support them each day.

For those living with dementia, we work hard to create an environment that feels calm, familiar, and safe, where residents can move through their days with as much independence and comfort as possible. For younger adults and those with physical disabilities, we think carefully about how we can support a fulfilling and active life alongside the practical care we provide.

Our team are straightforward, warm people who genuinely care about the individuals they work with. We invest in their training and make sure they have the time and knowledge to provide thoughtful, attentive support rather than just going through the motions.

We are proud that our most recent Care Quality Commission inspection rated us as Good, and we see that as something to build on rather than rest on.

If you would like to find out whether Hazeldene House could be the right place for your loved one, please do get in touch. We are always happy to have a chat or arrange a visit.
