About Us
Heathercliffe Residential Care Home is in Frodsham, Cheshire, providing a comfortable and settled place to live for older people who need support nearby. We are not a large place and we do not run like one. The kitchen, the lounge and the garden are used as they would be in any household, and days belong to the people living them.
A good part of our work is supporting residents living with dementia. We do that by learning each person's history and habits, keeping routines familiar, explaining changes in advance and giving people time rather than hurrying them. When somebody is unsettled we look for the reason rather than treating it as something to be managed.
Our team helps with personal care, medication, mobility and meals, and equally with the things that make a day worth having: conversation, company, a walk outside, or simply being left in peace with the newspaper. Family and friends are welcome whenever they can come.
We also offer respite stays, which can give a family carer a break or serve as a gentle trial for somebody considering a move.
Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is Good.
Please come and see us on an ordinary day and ask us whatever you would like to know.
