About Us
Primrose Avenue in Crewe is a residential care home supporting older people and younger adults, including adults with a learning disability, autistic people and people with a physical disability.
The people who live here are adults with their own preferences, routines and plans, and we run the home on that basis. Residents have a genuine say in how the house works, what we eat, how their support is provided and what they do with their time. Our job is to make the life someone wants practical rather than to decide it for them.
Support plans are written with each person, in a form they can take part in, and revisited as things change. We pay close attention to how each individual communicates and to what helps when a day becomes difficult, because knowing that in advance is worth far more than working it out afterwards. Familiar staff, a predictable routine and respect for sensory needs matter a great deal here.
We encourage people to stay part of Crewe, whether that means family and friends, work or college, a club, or simply going out and choosing how to spend an afternoon.
We also offer respite stays. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good, and you are welcome to visit.
