About Us
Paxton Hall Care Home is a residential care home in St Neots, Cambridgeshire, providing a home for older people, for younger adults, for people living with dementia, and for adults with learning disabilities and autistic adults.
Having that mix living together works better than people sometimes expect, and it keeps the place from feeling like a waiting room. Support is built around the individual rather than around a category. One person may need help with almost every part of the day and another very little, and both live here on the same terms.
We ask each person what a good day looks like for them, write it down in a form that makes sense to them, and change it when they say so. For those living with dementia we keep the routine steady and the staff familiar, and we arrange the house so that it is easy to understand and move around in.
People here are supported to get out into St Neots, to clubs, appointments and family, and to be as involved in the running of the house as they want to be.
Respite stays are available alongside permanent places. Our most recent rating from the Care Quality Commission is good, and you are welcome to visit and see the home.
