About Us
Cherry Tree House Residential Home is a residential care home in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. We are home to older people who need support with everyday life, including residents with physical disabilities, and we offer respite stays for people who need care for a shorter period or whose family carer needs a break.
We keep what we do deliberately focused. Residential care for older people is our work, and we would rather do that attentively than spread ourselves across every kind of need. Residents tell us when they like to wake, what they want to eat, how much help they want with washing and dressing and how they prefer to spend the day, and the day is built from those answers rather than from a rota that suits us.
For residents with physical disabilities we pay close attention to mobility, to moving safely about the building and to the equipment and arrangements that let someone do more without help. Those practical details often decide whether a person feels capable or dependent, so we would rather get them right than treat them as an afterthought. Independence is protected wherever it exists, and company matters too.
Families are welcome whenever they want to visit and we would far rather hear a concern early. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good, and we hold ourselves to it in the ordinary details of life here.
