About Maple House - Care Home Learning Disabilities

Here at Maple House, we are a care home based in Bromley, London, and we provide a warm, supportive environment for the people who live with us. We specialise in supporting individuals with learning disabilities and autism, as well as younger adults and older people who need residential care. We also offer respite care for those who need a short break or whose families need some additional breathing space. We know that choosing a care home is one of the most significant decisions a person or family will ever make. We take that responsibility seriously. Our aim is simple: to make sure every person who lives here feels genuinely at home, respected, and heard. We work hard to understand each individual, what matters to them, how they like their day to look, and what support they actually need rather than what is easiest to provide. Our team works closely with residents, families, and other professionals to make sure care is shaped around the person and not the other way around. We believe that good care is consistent, honest, and built on real relationships. When someone moves in, whether for the long term or a shorter respite stay, we want them to feel settled and safe from the very beginning. We are proud that our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission rated us as Good. That matters to us, not as a badge to display, but as confirmation that what we are doing day to day is working and that the people in our care are being supported well. If you would like to find out more about Maple House or come and visit us, we would be very happy to welcome you. We are always open to questions and encourage families to spend time with us before making any decisions.
