About 111 Rosebank Avenue
We are a small residential care home in Wembley supporting adults with a learning disability or autism. Our aim is that the people who live here feel it is their house, with the routines, possessions and habits that come with that, and that our support fits around their lives instead of the other way round. Everyone here is supported in the way that suits them. For some that means help with cooking, budgeting, appointments and travel so they can do more for themselves as time goes on. For others it means a great deal of hands on support, given patiently and in a way that keeps hold of dignity. We pay careful attention to how each person communicates and to what tends to help when somebody is anxious or overwhelmed, and we make sure every member of staff works to the same understanding. Life here is meant to look like anybody else's. Going out, seeing family and friends, work or college, hobbies and holidays. We support people to keep those connections rather than treating them as extras. We offer respite stays as well as permanent places. Our most recent Care Quality Commission inspection rated the home Good. If you are looking for a place, or supporting somebody who is, please get in touch and come and see us.
