About Us
We are a residential care home on Woodgrange Avenue in Brent, supporting adults with a range of needs in a house rather than an institution. The people who live here include older people, adults with a learning disability, autistic adults, people managing a mental health condition, people with a physical disability, and younger adults.
Running a home with that mix means we cannot work to a single routine, and we do not try to. People get up when they are ready, eat what suits them and spend their time as they choose. What we keep consistent is that the staff know the people here properly, well enough to see when somebody is quieter than usual or struggling with something they would not say out loud.
Support plans are written with the person and with anyone they want involved. We review them when circumstances change rather than filing them until the next scheduled date. Where someone wants to do more for themselves, whether that is cooking, managing appointments or getting out independently, we build it up at their pace instead of deciding for them what is realistic.
Families are kept properly informed and are welcome to visit whenever they want to. We also work alongside social workers, GPs and community mental health teams so that support joins up.
We offer respite stays as well as permanent places. Our most recent CQC overall rating is good. Please contact us if you would like to come and look round.
