About Us

Park Lodge Residential Care Home is a care home in Broadstone. We provide residential care for older people and we offer respite stays alongside permanent places.

We keep to residential care rather than claiming to cover everything, and that is worth being clear about. We suit people who need help with the ordinary business of the day and the reassurance of staff being nearby. There are needs we are not registered to meet, and where somebody requires nursing care we will say so rather than accept an admission we could not properly support.

Within that, the day belongs to the residents. People get up when they want, eat what they want and spend their time where they choose. Rooms belong to the people in them, with their own furniture and pictures, and relatives visit when it suits them.

Respite stays give family carers a genuine break and let somebody try the home before making a longer decision. We treat a fortnight's stay exactly as we treat a permanent one.

Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good.

Please come and visit and take your time over the decision.
