About Brompton House Care Home
Brompton House in Broadway provides nursing and personal care for older people, including those living with dementia and those whose physical disability means they need help to move safely. Registered nurses are on duty here at all hours, working with carers who know the people they look after well. Nursing needs including wound care, support with medication, continence care and the monitoring of long term conditions are met on the premises, and we involve GPs and community specialists early, because a problem caught in its first days is usually a much smaller problem. Beyond the clinical work, our concern is that people have days worth having. That means good food, company for those who want it, quiet for those who do not, and staff with the time to sit and talk. Rooms are personalised with belongings from home, and for people living with dementia we keep routines predictable and surroundings familiar. Families are welcome here and we keep them informed as a matter of course rather than only when something has gone wrong. Respite and short stays can be arranged, including for people needing nursing care for a period after leaving hospital. If you are looking at nursing homes in Worcestershire, please telephone us and arrange to come and see.
