About Us
Jubilee House Therapy Centre is in Penrith, providing nursing care for older people and for adults whose health needs mean qualified nurses need to be on hand at any hour. Rehabilitation and therapy are a real part of what we do, so a good deal of our work is about helping somebody regain what illness or injury has taken away rather than simply managing a condition.
We support people living with a physical disability, where dignity and practical independence matter as much as anything clinical, and people managing mental health conditions, where patience and continuity count for a great deal. We also care for younger adults, whose goals are often quite specific and whose day we plan accordingly. Respite care is available too, for people recovering after illness and for family carers who need a break.
Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is outstanding. We are proud of it and clear about what a rating is, which is a picture of a point in time. What keeps care good is the daily effort, knowing people properly, being honest when progress is slower than hoped and telling families things before they have to ask.
If you are considering care here, please come and see the place and ask us anything.
