About Willows Lodge Care Home
Willows Lodge is a nursing home in Tilbury, caring for adults who need qualified nursing support as well as help with daily living. Registered nurses are on duty here at all hours, so clinical needs can be met without a person having to leave familiar surroundings. Many of our residents are older and a good number are living with dementia. We build the day around the person rather than around the rota where we possibly can. That means unhurried mornings, food somebody actually wants, familiar music, and staff who know the difference between somebody who wants company and somebody who wants to be left in peace. We also support people living with mental health conditions, working closely with community teams and families so that care stays consistent, and people with sight or hearing loss, where the way we speak, describe and organise the environment makes a real difference. Younger adults with nursing needs are welcome here too. Respite stays are part of what we offer, whether a family carer needs a proper break or somebody needs a period of nursing care while getting their strength back. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. If you are considering a nursing home for someone in your family, please arrange to visit. We will show you round and answer your questions honestly.
