About Us
The Villa is a nursing home in Telford. We care for older people and younger adults who need qualified nursing alongside help with daily living, including people living with dementia and people living with a mental health condition. We also take respite bookings.
Having nurses on site means we can manage health that changes from one day to the next without sending somebody back and forth to hospital. Alongside that, we try to keep ordinary life going: people choose how their day runs, keep their own things around them, eat what they actually want and see their families whenever they like.
Our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission rated us requires improvement overall. We would rather say that to you directly than let you find it elsewhere. We know which areas were raised, work is under way, and we will go through the detail with any family considering us or already trusting us with a relative. People making this kind of decision deserve straight answers much more than they deserve a polished paragraph.
What we can commit to is telling you when something has gone wrong, telling you what we are doing about it, and talking to you early when a relative's health is changing rather than presenting you with a decision already taken.
If you are looking at nursing or respite care in Telford, please come and see the home and ask us whatever you want to ask.
