About Us
Here at The Priory Nursing and Residential Home in Telford, we provide a warm and homely environment where residents feel genuinely valued and well looked after. We are proud to serve the local community across Telford and Wrekin, offering a range of care that meets people at different stages of life and with different needs.
We specialise in older person care and nursing care, and we also support those living with dementia, younger adults who require residential support, and individuals who need a shorter respite stay. Whether someone comes to us for a few weeks to recover and recharge, or makes The Priory their long term home, we aim to make the experience as comfortable and reassuring as possible for both residents and their families.
Dementia care is something we take particularly seriously. We understand how unsettling this journey can be for everyone involved, and we work hard to create an atmosphere that feels calm, familiar and safe. Our approach is always person centred, meaning we take time to understand each resident as an individual, learning about their history, preferences and routines so that care feels personal rather than routine.
Our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission rated us as Good, which reflects the commitment shown by our team every single day. We are not complacent about this and we continue to look at how we can improve and grow.
If you are considering care for yourself or a loved one, we warmly encourage you to get in touch or come and visit us. Choosing the right home is a significant decision and we want you to have every opportunity to ask questions, look around and get a genuine feel for who we are and how we work. We would love to welcome you to The Priory.
