About Heyfields Nursing Home

We are a nursing home in Tittensor, caring for people who need qualified nursing support alongside help with the ordinary parts of daily life. Nurses are on hand at any hour, so a change in someone's health is picked up and dealt with early rather than left to become serious, and families can set down responsibility that had often become exhausting. Most of the people who live here are older, and we also care for younger adults whose health needs mean nursing care is necessary. We support people with complex physical disabilities, working closely with therapists, district nurses and hospital teams so that treatment and equipment are properly joined up rather than left to chance, and people with a visual or hearing impairment, adjusting how we communicate so that nobody is shut out of their own day. Respite stays are part of what we offer, whether that is a planned break for a family carer or a period of recovery after illness or a hospital admission. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. We keep asking residents and their families what could be better, because the most useful feedback rarely arrives on an inspection day. If you would like to visit, meet the team and see how things run, please get in touch and we will find a time that suits.
