About Us

We at St Quentin Senior Living, Residential & Nursing Homes are proud to offer specialist nursing care and residential support in the welcoming town of Newcastle Under Lyme, Staffordshire. Our home has been thoughtfully designed to provide a safe, comfortable and dignified setting for older people and younger adults who need a little more support in daily life.

Set within the ST postcode area of Newcastle Under Lyme, our home benefits from the familiar surroundings of a well established Staffordshire community in the West Midlands. Residents and their loved ones appreciate the calm, homely atmosphere we work hard to create, where comfort, warmth and a sense of belonging come together to make every day feel reassuringly familiar.

Our team provides a broad spectrum of care, recognising that no two residents are the same. We specialise in older person care and nursing care, supporting individuals with complex clinical needs whilst preserving their independence and dignity wherever possible. We also offer dedicated dementia care, where our approach centres on patience, understanding and meaningful daily engagement to help residents feel settled, valued and known.

Beyond this, we welcome residents living with physical disability, as well as those with visual or hearing impairment, adapting our communication and daily routines to suit each person's individual needs. We also support younger adults whose circumstances mean that residential nursing care is the right choice for them, ensuring that age appropriate activities, conversations and aspirations remain a meaningful part of their lives.

In practice, this breadth of expertise means families can feel reassured that their loved one's care will evolve alongside them. Whether someone arrives needing modest support and later requires more specialised nursing input, or whether their needs change as dementia progresses, our team is equipped to respond with continuity and compassion. We work closely with relatives, healthcare professionals and the wider community to make sure each resident's care plan reflects who they are, what they enjoy and what matters most to them.

Our most recent CQC inspection in February 2024 rated us as Good overall, with Good ratings across the Safe, Effective, Caring and Responsive domains. This independent recognition reflects the everyday commitment of our team to deliver kind, attentive and clinically sound care. We were rated Requires Improvement in the Well led domain, and we are taking this feedback seriously, using it as a constructive opportunity to strengthen our leadership, governance and the way we listen to residents, families and colleagues. Transparency matters to us, and we believe families deserve a clear and honest picture when choosing a home for someone they love.
