About Us
Here at Richmond Heights, we provide nursing home care in the heart of Sheffield, supporting a wide range of individuals with varying needs and backgrounds. We are proud to have received a "Good" rating from the Care Quality Commission, which reflects the genuine effort our team puts in every single day to make this a place where people feel safe, respected and at home.
We care for older people, those living with dementia, individuals with mental health needs, and people with physical disabilities. We also welcome younger adults who require nursing level support, and we offer respite care for those who need a short break from their usual arrangements or whose families need some time to rest. Whatever brings someone to us, we try to make sure the transition is as smooth and as comfortable as possible.
Nursing care sits at the core of what we do. Our clinical team works closely with residents, families and external professionals to make sure each person receives the right level of support for their particular circumstances. Care plans are built around the individual, not the other way around, and we review them regularly so they stay relevant as needs change over time.
Living with dementia can be a disorientating experience, and we take our responsibility in that area seriously. We work hard to create familiar, calm routines and an environment where residents feel settled and understood rather than anxious or confused.
We know that choosing a nursing home is one of the most significant decisions a family can make. We welcome visits and encourage people to come and have a look around, ask questions and get a proper feel for the place before making any decisions. Sheffield is our community too, and we are genuinely glad to be part of it.
