About Us

Here at Holly Bank Nursing Home, we are proud to be a trusted part of the Southport community in Sefton, providing a warm and caring environment where older people can feel genuinely at home.

We offer nursing care, dementia care and respite care, meaning we are well placed to support a range of needs under one roof. Whether someone comes to us following a hospital stay, needs longer term nursing support, or is living with dementia and requires specialist care, we work hard to make sure each person feels seen, heard and well looked after. Our respite care also gives family carers the chance to take a break, knowing their loved one is in safe and capable hands.

Our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission resulted in a "Good" rating overall, which we are genuinely pleased about. It reflects the commitment of our whole team and, more importantly, the standard of life we aim to provide for every resident.

We believe that good care comes down to knowing the people we support as individuals. That means understanding someone's routines, preferences, history and personality, not just their medical or personal care needs. Our staff take the time to build real relationships with residents and their families, and we encourage families to remain closely involved in the life of their loved one here.

The atmosphere at Holly Bank is one we are proud of. It is calm, friendly and homely, and we do our best to make sure residents have plenty of opportunities to enjoy their days, whether that is through social activity, quiet time or simply a good conversation over a cup of tea.

If you would like to find out more about life at Holly Bank Nursing Home, we would be very happy to hear from you or welcome you for a visit.
