About The Beeches
The Beeches is a nursing home in Liverpool, caring for older people and younger adults who need qualified nursing support. Our residents include people living with dementia, people with a physical disability and people with a visual or hearing impairment. Having nurses on site at every hour means clinical needs are met promptly and people can remain with us as their health changes. We keep a close watch on medication, pain relief, skin care and nutrition, and we bring in GPs and community teams early rather than waiting for small problems to grow. The rest of the day belongs to our residents. Mornings are flexible, meals are cooked here and adapted to individual tastes, and support with personal care is given at the resident's pace rather than the rota's. We take time to learn about each person's working life, family, faith and habits, because that tells us far more about how to care for them than any list of diagnoses. Families are welcome throughout the day and we encourage relatives to stay involved in decisions. We also offer respite care, often used after a hospital stay or to give a family carer a break. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good.
