About Vida Court
Vida Court is a nursing home in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. We provide nursing care for older people and younger adults, including people living with dementia or with mental ill health and people with a physical disability, and we offer respite stays. Having registered nurses on the team means we can care for people whose health needs are complex, and we can usually go on caring for somebody as those needs increase rather than asking them to move again. Families tell us that an end to the moving is what they want most. The day belongs to our residents. People wake in their own time, eat what they enjoy and spend their time in company or quietly as they prefer. Rooms are private space and are treated as such. For people living with dementia, our team works from knowledge of the person, keeping the surroundings calm and familiar and giving time rather than instruction. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is outstanding. We are proud of it and we are also realistic about it. A rating describes a period of time, while care has to be got right on every shift, including the quiet ones in the middle of the night. If you are looking at nursing care in Harrogate, please arrange to visit and see the home on an ordinary day.
