About Claremont Parkway
Claremont Parkway is a nursing home in Kettering. We care for older people and for younger adults who need nursing support, with registered nurses on duty at every hour of the day and night. People usually come to us at a point when things have become difficult to manage elsewhere, and the first job is to steady everything. That means getting the clinical picture right, sorting out medication, pain, sleep and nutrition, and giving someone the time to feel safe again. Once that settles, a great deal else becomes possible. We try to keep the house feeling like a house. Bedrooms are furnished with people's own things, family and friends come when it suits them rather than when it suits us, and nobody is moved along to fit a routine. Meals are cooked here and we take seriously what people actually want to eat, which is not always what a care plan would suggest. For younger adults we are careful not to let the week become a generic programme. Interests, work, study, friendships and the ordinary business of being that age should carry on, and we support them rather than replace them. Respite stays are available, whether for a planned family break or for recovery after a spell in hospital. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is Good. If you are looking at nursing care in Kettering or the wider North Northamptonshire area, please come and visit. Ask to see the parts of the home nobody puts in a brochure.
