About Us
Bluebirds Neurological Care Centre is a nursing home in Milton Keynes specialising in the care of people living with neurological conditions. Our nursing team is here throughout the day and night, and the support we provide is built around needs that are often complex and that can change over time.
We care for older people and younger adults, including people living with dementia. Supporting adults of working age with a neurological condition asks for something quite different from care in later life, and we try not to blur the two. People have their own relationships, interests, ambitions and opinions, and good care should make room for those rather than quietly organise them away.
Alongside nursing, medication, mobility support and close work with the health professionals involved, we pay attention to the ordinary parts of a day. Food worth eating, company on someone's own terms, help to keep up family ties and interests, and being asked before things are done.
Respite care is available as well, giving family carers a planned break or supporting someone through a period of recovery.
Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. If you would like to look around and meet the team, please get in touch and we will arrange a visit.
