About Us
The Georgians is a nursing home on Wide Bargate in Boston, Lincolnshire. Qualified nurses are on duty here throughout the day and night, which is what allows us to take people whose needs a residential home could not safely meet. The people living with us are mostly older adults and a large proportion are living with dementia. Some have managed a mental health condition for many years. A good number have a physical disability and need daily help with moving and positioning, and some are blind, partially sighted, deaf or hard of hearing. We also support younger adults whose health needs call for nursing, and we take care they are not quietly folded into a routine built for people decades older. Being in the middle of a market town rather than out on a bypass makes a practical difference. Relatives call in on their way through. People who can still get out are in a place with shops and a church and a market rather than a car park. The nursing is thorough and unhurried, and the part that no procedure covers is noticing, which comes from the same staff knowing the same residents. Respite admissions are available. Our overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Come and look round on an ordinary day and ask us anything.
